Warner Robins man, 24, dies after dirt bike crashes into SUV at intersection

A Warner Robins man died after he wrecked while riding his dirt bike Saturday evening.

The 24-year-old man was driving south on Johns Road in Warner Robins and crashed into a Chevy Suburban at the intersection of Johns Road and Carroll Drive, authorities said.

Houston County Coroner James Williams identified him as Ahmon Arlee Mallory.

According to the Warner Robins Police Department, the Chevy Suburban was crossing the intersection when Mallory’s dirt bike struck the side of the vehicle.

The Warner Robins police responded to the scene around 6:45 p.m. Mallory was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said.

Mallory was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

The Warner Robins Police Department Traffic Division is still investigating the incident.
