20-year-old motorcyclist dies after collision with car in Warner Robins
A Warner Robins man died after his motorcycle and another car collided at an intersection Thursday night.
Around 10:22 p.m., they crashed at the intersection of Carl Vinson Parkway and Elberta Road in Centerville, Cpl. Brett Sanders with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
The motorcycle was driving south along Carl Vinson Parkway and collided with the car that was turning left from Elberta Road.
The motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital for his injuries and was pronounced dead Friday morning.
Houston County Coroner James Williams identified the motorcyclist as 20-year-old Warner Robins resident Nathan Newton.
The condition and identity of the car driver was not confirmed at this time.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is currently investigating the incident.
