In 2022, there have been 12 homicides in Houston County. Not every homicide is considered a murder, including vehicular homicides, involuntary manslaughter and killings deemed justified as self-defense.
It should be noted that most, if not all, of these cases have not been adjudicated, and many are still under investigation, so details, charges, suspects and more information could change in the coming weeks and months.
