Milledgeville man killed in single-vehicle crash

A Milledgeville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night on Ga. 24 in Baldwin County.

Bobby Goins, 47, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from his 2008 Ford F-250 in the 6:30 p.m. crash about a mile north of Anderson Drive, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Goins was traveling north on Ga. 24 when he ran off the road, attempted to drive back onto the roadway and lost control of the pickup truck, the GSP said.

The vehicle began rotating counter-clockwise, crossing the center line, running off the road and striking a fence on its right side.
