Man dies in Warner Robins house fire
An 84-year-old man died in a house fire in Warner Robins on Sunday morning.
Acting Warner Robins Police Chief John Wagner said the fire happened at a home on Hazel Drive off Russell Parkway. The victim was the lone occupant of the home.
The man’s identify is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
Wagner said the Warner Robins Fire Department and police detectives are investigating, but he said at this time there is no obvious sign of foul play. The cause has not been determined.
“We are leaning toward it being accidental,” he said.
