Additionally, two sports utility vehicles, one small and the other large, left the parking lot headed north on U.S. 41 - apparently colliding at U.S. 41 and Ga. 49, the release said.
One of the vehicles was found at the crash location and the other abandoned at Georgia Bob’s Barbecue Company restaurant at 140 Cane River Drive in Byron.
“At this time, it is not known if any person was hit by gunfire,” the release said.
Centerville police remained on the scene throughout the morning, collecting evidence that included multiple shell casings noted by yellow crime scene markers across the parking lot.
Yellow crime scene tape was stretched alongside the parking lot next to a convenience store and gas pumps.
The back windows of two vehicles in the parking lot were shattered and police had those two vehicles and others towed from the area.
The lounge is located in a shopping center near the intersection of U.S. 41 and Gunn Road.
The shooting remains under investigation.
