A pedestrian died Monday in Macon.

A 33-year-old man died early Monday in a car wreck at the intersection of Rocky Creek Road and Pio Nono Avenue.
The 12:30 a.m. crash happened a block or so from Interstate 75 at one of south Macon’s most-traveled crossroads.
According to Bibb County sheriff’s officials, the victim, Anthony Hill, of Macon, was a passenger in a Nissan Versa that reportedly collided with a Mercedes.
Both drivers survived. Further details were not immediately available.
