A McAfee Towers resident was hit by a car Friday morning as he rode an electric cart into the parking lot.

Macon-Bibb County Fire and paramedics were called to 1212 Gray Highway before noon to treat Michael Summer, 56, who injured his leg, according to Bibb County sheriff’s Lt. Randy Gonzalez.
