Belk looking for child models for Kidfest fashion shows

Children interested in modeling have a chance to get some catwalk experience this month.

Belk department stores are holding open casting for youngsters ages 4-12 for Kidfest fashion shows July 30.

The nearly 300 stores in the Southeast are holding back-to-school bashes that Saturday at all locations.

Parents and legal guardians should contact local Belk stores to register and obtain information about the activities, prizes and refreshments planned.

The models will wear the latest fashions and will receive a 20 percent discount on clothes they wear in the show.
