TV show casting extras in Macon
“Brockmire,” a new TV show that will be filmed in Macon, is looking for extras to play baseball fans, according to the Macon Film Commission’s Facebook page.
The show is about Jim Brockmire, a former Major League Baseball announcer who loses his job after an on-air meltdown upon learning of his wife’s infidelity. Brockmire, played by Hank Azaria, tries to resurrect his career by calling minor league baseball in a small town.
Filming is set for July 7-8 at Luther Williams Field.
Those interested in being in the TV show must submit three current photos along with age, height, weight and telephone number. Photos should be without makeup or any digital alterations but do not have to be professional. Selfies are OK.

Children and adults are both encouraged to apply. Children will be paid $80 for eight hours, and adults will be paid $64 for eight hours.
