Motorcycle accident claims Monroe County man’s life

A 56-year-old Forsyth man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night.

Elmer A. Lundy was pronounced dead at the scene in the 3200 block of Stoke Store Road, according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The accident happened about 8:20 p.m.

Lundy’s motorcycle left the roadway while headed west and veered into a ditch.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
