Man accused of shooting man with ex-wife in 2015 is jailed
A 41-year-old Macon man has been arrested more than eight months after he allegedly broke into his ex-wife’s apartment and shot in the foot a man she was with in her bedroom, according to an arrest warrant from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Terrance Bryson was arrested Sunday, charged with two counts of aggravated assault in connection with the Sept. 3, 2015, shooting, according to jail records.
About 3 a.m. that morning, Bryson allegedly broke into his 45-year-old ex-wife’s apartment on Paul Street, which is off Broadway near Mead Road. After getting inside through a window, Bryson reportedly confronted her and Robert Samples Jr. in her bedroom.
Bryson is accused of sticking a gun in his ex-wife’s mouth and firing a shot over her shoulder, striking Samples in the foot. He’s also accused of firing shots at his ex-wife. Samples was treated for the gunshot wound.
Bryson remains in jail without bond, records show.
