Woman killed in Houston County motorcycle crash
A 41-year-old woman was killed after a motorcycle crash in Houston County on Sunday night.
Sheryl Lynn Aldridge was driving on Ga. 127 near Houston Lake Road when she reportedly lost control of her motorcycle, Houston County Coroner Danny Galpin said. Aldridge was a state parole officer and a former Macon police officer, according to her obituary.
Aldridge was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner, Galpin said. The wreck, which did not involve anyone else, is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
