Man arrested in connection with stolen camera
An 18-year-old man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with the theft of an expensive camera that was taken in April from a car in Macon, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Elijah Ishanna Simmons is charged with theft by receiving and violation of probation, the release said. The camera, valued at $8,000, was stolen from a car April 27 on Shadow Moss Drive. Simmons remains in the Bibb County jail on a $4,050 bond, the release said.
