Rebuilding Together Warner Robins gets $15,000 Lowe’s grant

Two homes in Warner Robins are getting repairs thanks to a $15,000 grant from Lowe’s.

The grant was awarded to Rebuilding Together Warner Robins to repair the homes of Martha Page at 123 Demetree Road and Doretha Hamilton at 627 Camellia Circle, according to a news release.

More than 30 volunteers from Rebuilding Together Warner Robins and Lowe’s Heroes employees will complete the repairs.

Rebuilding Together uses volunteers and donations to repair homes for people in need.

Page’s home is getting new vinyl siding to replace asbestos siding, carport paint, grab bars for entry doors and yard cleanup.

Hamilton’s home is getting a new roof, new front and back doors, new wallboard, new living room flooring, plumbing repairs and handicapped access rails.
