Warner Robins man in critical condition after crash on I-75

A Warner Robins man is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash Friday night on Interstate 75.

Charles Portivent, 32, was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, after the 11:45 p.m. crash on I-75 near Interstate 16, a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release stated.

Jamie Campbell, 19, of Macon, was driving a 2003 Toyota Corolla north on I-75 in the right lane when a 2001 Honda Accord driven by by Portivent struck the Toyota, the release said. The impact knocked the Toyota into a guardrail.

Campbell and two passengers in her vehicle were also transported to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, for minor injuries, the release said.

The crash is under investigation and charges are pending, the release said.
