Flooding destroys road in Gray

A Jones County road was destroyed by nature on Friday, forcing locals to take alternative routes for the next few days, according to a Facebook post by the Gray Fire Department on Friday evening.

The asphalt on Morton Road, between Ga. 18 and Turner Woods Road, appeared to be separated by rushing water near Turner Woods Middle School after Friday afternoon's downpour. The road will be closed for several days, the post said.
