Mentors Project cookout cancelled because of weather threat

A cookout in Macon to feed the homeless on Friday has been cancelled.

June O'Neal, executive director of the Mentors Project of Bibb County, said the cookout that was sponsored by the Mentors Project, is cancelled because of the threat of inclement weather.

The cookout had been scheduled at the Loaves and Fishes Ministries offices from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
