Outreach for veterans planned for April 5 in Macon

The Macon Vet Center will have a representative on hand April 5 at the Macon Career Center to answer any questions veterans may have about benefits.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. until noon at 3090 Mercer University Drive. Veterans, their families and anyone else interested are invited to have their questions answered.

All services are free and confidential. The Macon Vet Center focuses on helping combat veterans make the transition to civilian life.

Veterans are asked to bring discharge papers to determine eligibility for services.
