Macon hosting Beautillion to showcase talents of young men

A half-dozen young men, aged 7 to 18 years, will take the stage Friday for the 37th Beautillion.

The Macon Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will host the event beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple Auditorium at 1985 Vineville Ave.

For their participation in the program, the young men will be awarded scholarships as they exhibit their dancing talents, public speaking skills and social proficiency.

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser also provide scholarships for other young people in Middle Georgia.
