Log truck wrecks on Ga. 74 in Monroe County

Traffic was blocked on Ga. 74 just after noon Monday after a truck hauling logs wrecked near mile marker 7, according to a Facebook post by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The driver suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the post. The truck was the only vehicle involved in the wreck.

The road reopened about 1:45 p.m.
