Middle Georgia women who qualify may be able to get one of 200 free mammograms offered by the Breast Care Center at Navicent Health in Macon.

The mammograms, made possible through a grant from Susan G. Komen Central Georgia, are available for uninsured and underinsured women living in Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Jones, Houston, Monroe, Peach and Twiggs counties, according to a news release from Navicent Health. There is no income cap, and the mammograms are available to any woman without adequate insurance to cover the cost of the screening.
