Macon-Bibb Tax Commissioner's Office hosting tax relief seminars

The Macon-Bibb County Tax Commissioner's Office will host two tax relief seminars Thursday, according to a news release.

The seminars offer opportunities for people to find out about homestead exemptions and alternate payment solutions. They will be held inside the commission chambers of the Macon-Bibb County Government Center, 700 Poplar St., from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

"This is an opportunity for people to learn how they can save money on their taxes and for people who are struggling to pay back taxes (to) learn about easy ways to pay them down," interim Tax Commissioner Wade McCord said in the release.
