Wreck blocks Ga. 247 near airport

A wreck has blocked Ga. 247 in south Bibb County.

A vehicle overturned, and the clean-up efforts have resulted in all four lanes being closed at the intersection with Airport Industrial Parkway, near the Kohl's Distribution Center and the Middle Georgia Regional Airport.

There were injuries in the crash, but Deputy Linda Howard with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said the severity was not known as of 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
