Forsyth railroad crossing closing for repairs

Motorists will have to detour around the Ga. 18 railroad crossing Monday near Newton Drive for maintenance on the rail line.

Vehicles will be directed around the closure at Dames Ferry Road to Industrial Park Drive, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Crews are scheduled to work between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, weather permitting.
