Water main break cancels classes in Putnam County

Class is canceled for many students in Putnam County after a Wednesday water main break in Eatonton.

Central Georgia Technical College's Putnam County Center cancelled all evening classes due to the campus being without water, according to a news release from the college.

Putnam County public schools also have cancelled class for students Thursday, the school system announced on its Facebook page about 5:30 p.m. School staff is still required to report to work, the post said.
