The 2016 Think Pink car window painting and minifestival is coming up Saturday.

It's being held at Riverside United Methodist Church, at 735 Pierce Avenue, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Peggy Whyte will be painting car windows, Cherry Blossom Festival souvenirs will be sold, pink bows for decorating will be available for $5, and Taste and See will be selling food.

Two bands -- Still Crusin' and Parks Pickers, are scheduled to perform, and Petals, the festival's mascot, will also be on hand, along with Cherry Blossom Festival royalty.

Parking will be available at the adjacent Northwoods School for those who don't want their car window painted.

If it rains, the event will be held on March 5.

Other events include:

-- 2016 Cherry Blossom Children's Art Contest, with the theme What Makes Macon Pink?, for kindergartners through eighth-graders.

The deadline for submissions is March 8.

-- 2016 Youth Photography Contest, for sixth- through 12th-graders. The deadline for submissions is April 4.

For more information, go to: www.cherryblossom.com.

The Think Pink Celebration will be held April 28 at Park Memorial Church.
