GDOT advises of temporary detour near Forest Hill Road

A temporary detour is scheduled to begin Thursday morning with the construction of a culvert near the intersection of Forest Hill and Glenbrook roads in Macon, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m., local traffic for Glenbrook Road will be detoured onto Newport Road and then onto Darlington Drive, according to the release. Both streets will have signs in place indicating the detour, which is expected to be continuous through Feb. 26, according to the release.
