Some Middle Georgians are $50,000 richer after Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

Two stores in Macon, one in Forsyth and one in Eastman sold $50,000 tickets, according to a release from the Georgia Lottery Corp. In addition, Georgia sold two $1 million tickets, one $100,000 ticket and 26 other $50,000 tickets.

The $1 million tickets were sold in Atlanta and Douglas, while an Alpharetta store sold the $100,000 ticket.

Three winning tickets for the record $1.5 billion jackpots were sold in California, Florida and Tennesee.
