Forsyth man dies in Friday morning crash

A Forsyth man was killed Friday morning in an automobile crash on Ga. 41 south near Montpelier Road.

Randolph Watkins was found dead in a Nissan Frontier pickup that appeared to have left the roadway and struck a tree about 5:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Watkins' age was not released.

The crash is still being investigated.
