Man accused of shooting stepson with AK-47
A Macon man is accused of shooting his step-son with an AK-47 assault rifle.
Kenneth Latimore, 61, is charged with aggravated assault family violence in connection with the incident at 2991 Millerfield Road at about 1:20 p.m. Saturday, according to a Bibb Sheriff's Office release.
Latimore is accused of firing the weapon at his step-son, Timoral Austin, 36, during an argument over money Austin owed Latimore but refused to pay, the release stated. The bullet grazed Austin in the head. Austin is in stable condition at the Medical Center, Navicent Health.
