Prison escapees captured in Telfair County and East Dublin

Two inmates who escaped from a work detail earlier this week have been captured.

According to a release on the Telfair County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the two Thomas County State Prison inmates escaped Tuesday from a trash collection detail.

One inmate, Joshua Fountain, 28, was captured Friday in Telfair County following a citizen's tip that he had been spotted. Annette Fountain Lockett, 24, of Eastman, was also arrested and charged with harboring a fugitive. The two were in a vehicle together leaving the area, the release stated.

Early Saturday, the second inmate was captured in East Dublin, according to the release. James Waldren was captured by the U.S. Marshal's Service Fugitive Squad.
