Update: I-75 traffic back to normal

UPDATE: Traffic was flowing normally by 5:45 p.m.

A crash on Interstate 75 near Hardeman Avenue backed up traffic Wednesday afternoon.

The accident involved three vehicles, one of which was a dump truck hauling asphalt, according to information from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. The truck leaked oil, which led to the two right lanes of I-75 North being blocked off.

As of 4:15 p.m., wreckers still had not cleared the vehicles from the highway, so an estimated clear time was not available.
