Mercer civil rights lectures to be rescheduled
Mercer University plans to rescheduled civil rights lectures that were canceled Monday and Tuesday.
Lecturer Patricia Sullivan, professor of history at the University of South Carolina, was not able to travel due to severe flooding in her home state.
New dates will be announced as soon as possible.
Sullivan planned three lectures on the theme “What Happened to the Civil Rights Movement” as part of Mercer University’s 58th annual Lamar Lectures on Southern history and culture.
