Missing elderly Macon man returns, Mattie’s Call canceled

A 78-year-old Macon man, who had been missing since Saturday morning has returned home.

The niece of Robert Harris Jr., told investigators he came back, unharmed, at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to an earlier news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Harris walked away from his home at 4344 West Highland Drive just before 8 a.m. Saturday.
