North Bibb traffic accident leaves Macon man in critical condition
A traffic accident in the intersection of Arkwright Road and Riverside Drive in north Bibb County left a Macon man in critical condition Friday evening.
The crash happened around 5 p.m., according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release. A Jeffersonville woman was traveling westbound on Arkwright Road in a Toyota Corolla.
The woman, 41, proceeded through the stop sign at the intersection and collided with a 27-year-old Juliette man, who was traveling northbound on Riverside, according to the release.
As a result of the collision, the man’s Ford F550 collided head on with a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling southbound on Riverside. The Tahoe was driven by 38-year-old Jetamia Bryant, of Macon, the release said.
Bryant was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health and is listed in critical condition.
The accident is currently under investigation and no charges have been made at this time.
