Dense fog advisory posted for Macon, Middle Georgia

A dense fog advisory is posted until 10 a.m. Wednesday for Middle Georgia and much of the northern parts of the state.

Visibilities will be a quarter-mile or less across much of the state including: Macon, Warner Robins, Atlanta, Athens, Milledgeville, Dublin, and Americus.

Dangerous driving conditions are expected and the National Weather Service urges drivers to use low beam headlights, slow down and leave extra room between vehicles.
