Macon cyclist critically hurt in Thomaston Road accident
A 48-year-old cyclist was hurt Tuesday night in an accident on Thomaston Road.
Just after 8 p.m., Tracy Fuller, of Macon, was headed west with two other cyclists when he was hit by a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 6300 block of Thomaston Road, not far from the entrance to Lake Wildwood, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The 31-year-old driver of the Tahoe told Bibb County deputies that he saw the first two cyclists but did not see Fuller until he hit him.
Fuller was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, where he was listed in critical condition.
