An Amazon tractor-trailer driver went off the highway in Forsyth after falling asleep, a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday said.

Deputies were dispatched at 6:45 am. Wednesday after an Amazon tractor-trailer driving northbound on I-75 ran off the highway near Exit 179.

Preliminary reports indicated that the driver fell asleep while traveling, according to the news release.

No injuries were reported, according to deputies. The incident is under investigation.
