Monroe County deputies advise heavy traffic near highway train crash
A collision between a truck and a train in Monroe County led to heavy traffic Wednesday morning, deputies said in a news release.
A dump truck failed to yield to an oncoming train southbound on Highway 41 and Pea Ridge Road just before 9 a.m., deputies said. The back of the truck was hit.
“Traffic will be heavy in this area,” the news release said. “Please use an alternative route.”
