ATF investigating Byron firework plant explosion that injured 2, sheriff says

An explosion at a firework plant in Byron on Thursday left two injured, according to Peach County Sheriff Buck Shannon.

The explosion occurred at Pyrotechnic Specialties on Juniper Creek Road on Thursday. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was “on scene conducting their investigation,” the sheriff told The Telegraph.

The condition of the two injured was unclear Thursday afternoon. Shannon could not provide further information.
