Your favorite burger and fries joint may have recently closed its doors.

According to recent reports, Five Guys restaurants have closed 10 locations in California, Florida, Iowa and Louisiana. But there’s also one Georgia location that closed. Is it the Five Guys in Macon? Here’s what to know about “doomed” locations.

Which Five Guys location in GA closed?

The location at 3393 Peachtree Rd NE in Atlanta recently closed its doors. There are no other reports of more Georgia locations closing at this time.

Current Middle Georgia locations are in Macon, McDonough and Warner Robins.

So, why are some locations closing?

“Restaurants can close for any number of reasons, and it’s not unusual for a large chain or individual franchisee to shutter locations for underperformance or other issues specific to a marketplace. Broadly speaking, the quick service restaurant (QSR) segment continues to face challenges from rising costs and diners being more price conscious,” according to Fast Company.

Five Guys is known for its delicious food with quality ingredients, but is on the pricier side of fast food restaurants.
