Police investigate man’s death in Warner Robins roadway. What we know

Police are investigating a man found dead in a Warner Robins roadway, according to a Warner Robins Police Department news release Tuesday.

Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Houston Lake Rd. shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday. They found “a deceased male in the center turn lane,” according to the news release.

“Due to the location of the deceased in the roadway, the Traffic Division responded to investigate the incident,” police said.

The victim’s identity nor the circumstances of his death have been confirmed as of publication. The police are notifying the family of the man’s death before releasing his name.
