A Macon man died when his car flipped Wednesday night in Forsyth, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

A Honda Accord overturned before midnight Thursday in a rural area on the Interstate 75 Southbound entrance ramp off Johnstonville Road, deputies said in a news release.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and overturned,” deputies said. “The driver was ejected during the crash.”

Jarhaad Bass, the 25-year-old driver, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies called the crash an “accident.”

The sheriff’s office didn’t immediately respond to The Telegraph’s request for the crash report under the Georgia Open Records Act.
