A Macon lottery player won a $125,000 jackpot after purchasing a Fantasy 5 ticket, the Georgia Lottery announced Thursday.

The lottery ticket bought at Citgo Food Mart at 1681 Rocky Creek Rd. matched all five numbers for the Fantasy 5 jackpot ticket, Georgia Lottery said. It is unclear if the ticket has been claimed.

Fantasy 5 tickets are available for purchase at any Georgia Lottery retailer, with drawings held every day at 11:34 pm.

Proceeds from lottery tickets and games benefit education in Georgia. The Georgia Lottery Corporation has contributed more than $30.6 billion to specific educational programs. They include Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
