Over the last few weeks, we asked readers which Macon local bar is the best in town and after four rounds of voting in our bracket, we have a winner.
In the final round, it was between The Rose Room and Society Garden. So, who won?
Well, the winner of our best local bar bracket is:
Society Garden
“Society Garden has now been open for almost nine years! Where we started, and what The Garden has grown into is a testament to our customers, staff and neighborhood; embracing a space that is a unique, family-friendly event space, live music venue, and social hub for Midtown Macon,” said Meagan Evans, co-owner Society Garden. “We thank you, and look forward to making many more great memories in the years to come.”
On the menu at Society Garden, guests can enjoy local brews or unique cocktails while listening to live music, watching sports, lounging in the eclectic garden or playing with kiddos by the vintage slide and ping-pong table. Don’t miss special events at The Garden like Trivia Thursdays or Reggae Sundays as well as seasonal events, pop-ups and more.
The Society Garden is located at 2389 Ingleside Avenue in Macon and is open Wed-Sun with varying hours.
