Three Macon leaders have been named to Georgia Trend Magazine’s annual list of the “100 Most Influential Georgians,” which recognizes people across various fields whose leadership has benefited companies statewide and strengthened their communities

Macon-Bibb County Mayor Lester Miller, Georgia Agribusiness Council President Will Bentley, and Tim Lowrimore, the Georgia Forestry Association and Georgia Forestry Foundation president and CEO, were featured on the magazine’s 2026 list for their positive impact. Some honorees were recognized for consecutive years.

This was the third consecutive year that Miller made the list. Georgia Trend Magazine credited Miller for Macon’s growth and revitalization, citing initiatives aimed at attracting more tourists. The publication also highlighted his efforts to expand affordable housing, implement criminal justice reform initiatives, and reduce property taxes for five consecutive years.

Lowrimore, who made the list for a second consecutive year, brings decades of experience across the forest supply chain, according to Georgia Trend Magazine. The publication cited his deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing Georgia’s landowners and forest product manufacturers.

The publication also recognized Bentley for his advocacy on behalf of Georgia farmers, including lobbying federal officials for block grant relief following Hurricane Helene. Bentley’s previous role as executive vice president of the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association and the Georgia Beef Board was also highlighted.

Georgia Trend Magazine staff selects the list of the most influential people in the Peach State each year, recognizing them for their common strength of purpose “no matter their background or area of expertise,” the publication’s website says.

The full list of influential Georgians for 2026 is available on Georgia Trend Magazine’s website.
