Best GA small town to visit for Christmas
Dahlonega, Georgia was highlighted for its annual Old-Fashioned Christmas fest, tree lighting on the square and horse-drawn carriage rides across town. The town, which has been featured in a few Hallmark Christmas movies, is the perfect place to slow down this holiday season, while also not missing out on Christmas events.
“While it’s unlikely to snow, the town does indeed deliver an old-timey Christmas filled with hot cocoa and memory-making,” according to HGTV.
Dahlonega’s Old-Fashioned Christmas includes activities like a breakfast with Santa, Christmas caroling around town, a Christmas home tour and more. See the full calendar online or visit the Facebook page.
