Macon investigators probe death of 27-year-old woman found in vehicle

A 27-year-old woman was found dead in a car Wednesday evening in the 100 block of Aspen Drive in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

A call came in to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 6:11 p.m., reporting a female, identified as Peyton Lynn Foster, unresponsive inside a vehicle. Paramedics responded on the scene to treat Foster, but Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced her dead at the scene, police said.

Police say no foul play has been detected. Foster’s body was transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy.

Law enforcement said this incident was under investigation Thursday.
