A man died in Warner Robins after a car struck a moped in a parking lot off North Davis Drive Tuesday evening, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.
The man, identified as 69-year-old Lawrence Wyatt, was traveling along Tabor Drive when he turned into the parking lot of a gas station. He passed through the parking lot, but he collided with a car as he was about to turn out onto North Davis Drive, the release said.
Wyatt was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and eventually died, officials said.
Police said the driver is not facing any charges related to the incident at this time.
